BROTHERHOOD
The brotherhood is the men of the church together
for the purpose of sharing experience with inexperience. The Bible
states that the older men should teach the younger men. Because
of the absence of so many men in the family, this proves to be a
worthy movement. Emphasis is placed on being the head and not the
tail, covering of the family, providing for the family and protection
of the family. The result of this movement is teaching young men
who didn’t experience the father in the home and other valuable
skills to apply toward a productive home life according to God’s
word.
Sisterhood
The sisterhood department deals with the women
of the church. The older women teach and mentor the younger women.
Teen pregancy, motherhood and relationships are of a few topics
that are explored. Much effort goes into planning activities that
will inspire and promote sisterhood.
Music
The Music department seeks to bring the joy
of the Lord to our people through song. Our bible teaches us to
sing hymns, spirituals and the new songs, making a joyful noise
unto the Lord. Through our musicians, choir, soloists and praise
team we actively worship our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mission and Outreach
The outreach ministry concerns itself with
reaching those who do not know or understand the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. Nursing homes are visited and carried clothes and supplies
for the tenants. Praise and worship service are conducted at the
home for the benefit of the residents. A prison ministry is slated
to be birthed as the outreach ministry progress. The primary mission
of this department is to seek out the needs of individuals and design
activities to address them.
Youth and Children
The youth directors plan programs and activities
for the development of the youth. These activities include outings,
field trips, competitions and positive exposures to help in the
molding of good character as they become responsible adults.
Nursing
The nursing ministry lends itself to the over
all health education of the church body. Maintaining a healthy outlook
and posture comes from this department. The nursing department ensures
the body is informed of health and medical alerts. This department
is staff by Registered Nurses. They are available for consultation
and resource information.
Media
The Media Department of Barnabas Baptist Church is responsible for
all media that relates to Barnabas Baptist church, it’s interaction
with the ministerial team, membership, visitors, press, government
and the international community.

- Church E-Store - Church Sound System, Sanctuary, Remote Rooms
- Church Auxiliary Sound System for Outdoor Concerts, Picnic,
etc. - Audio Recording, Editing, Duplication, Packaging and Sales
of church recordings in book store - Video Recording, Editing,
Duplication, - Packaging and Sales of church recordings in book
store - Printing and Publication Services for programs, postcards,
business cards, thank you cards, souvenir books, annual reports,
church directory - Advertising ad copy design and placement in
radio, television, magazine, newspaper and etc. - Public Relations
regarding press services, radio, television, magazine as well
as interaction with potential members - Archives Maintenance of
working CD, DVD and Hi Density tape backups of all computer data
for church computers, recorders and etc. - Bookstore sales of
books, calendars, Audio Recording, Video Recordings, and more.
